Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Demand and quality was good despite a light supply due to the rain and snow this week. Some attractive consignments of yearlings made for an active market and buyers were aggressive to own them. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-3.00 higher.

Supply included: 95% Feeder Cattle (65% Steers, 35% Heifers); 3% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (62% Stock Cows, 38% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 66%.
