Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady. Demand was good to very good for several consignments of quality calves and a few yearlings in the mix including a load of all black 763 lb steers. Supply was moderate to heavy with another large run of slaughter cows offered. There's plenty of moisture in the area but farmers would like to get back in the field as soon as they can. Slaughter cows sold firm to 2.00 higher.

Supply included: 83% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 44% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (5% Stock Cows, 95% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 42%.
