Compared to last week, a light test of steers and heifers sold mostly steady. Supply was light to moderate, affected by the wet weather and storms that moved across the area. Demand was moderate with the overall quality not as attractive as usual. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to 2.00 lower.
Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 49% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 32%.
