Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold weak. Dairy steers sold weak on a light comparison. No comparison on slaughter heifers or slaughter dairy heifers. Slaughter cows sold steady. Buyer demand was moderate on a moderate to heavy supply for the slaughter cattle sales. Feeder dairy calves sold steady with a weak undertone noted. Buyer demand was moderate on a moderate to heavy supply for the feeder dairy calf sale.
Supply included: 48% Slaughter Cattle (40% Steers, 10% Dairy Steers, 3% Heifers, 39% Cows, 8% Dairy Heifers); 52% Feeder Dairy Calves (83% Bulls, 17% Heifers).
