Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 550 lbs. 1.00-5.00 higher; over 550 lbs. 3.00-7.00 lower. Feeder heifers 3.00-8.00 lower. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 2.00 lower. Quality was average. Buyer activity was good just not as eager to buy the new crop calves. Feeder cattle futures have been softer over last week resulting in a softer tone in the market.

Supply included: 63% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 39% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 29% Slaughter Cattle (81% Cows, 19% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (33% Bred Cows, 67% CowCalf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26%.
