Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers under 600 lbs. 2.00-7.00 higher; over 600 lbs. 3.00-6.00 lower. Feeder heifers 7.00-12.00 higher. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-5.00 higher. Quality was average to attractive. Lighter weight cattle were in high demand. Sold a load of preconditioned cattle on video click link to see results. Supply included: 75% Feeder Cattle (41% Steers, 47% Heifers, 12% Bulls); 23% Slaughter Cattle (92% Cows, 8% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (43% Stock Cows, 57% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
