Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 550 lbs. 7.00-15.00 lower; over 550 lbs. 1.00-3.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 450 lbs. 8.0011.00 lower; over 450 lbs. steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady. Quality was plain. Market was softer on most classes of feeder cattle. Cattle futures have seen cheaper prices over last week or so and has bled down in the auction market. Buyer activity was more reluctant this week.

Supply included: 75% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 48% Heifers, 10% Bulls); 21% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (24% Bred Cows, 76% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 11%.
