Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00-7.00 higher. Slaughter cows 1.00-3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-4.00 higher. Quality was average. Lighter weight calves suitable for grazing were still in high demand.
Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 48% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 9% Slaughter Cattle (81% Cows, 19% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 13%.
