Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 500 lbs. 3.00-10.00 higher; over 500 lbs. 2.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers 1.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady. Slaughter bulls steady. Quality was average. Sold two loads of preconditioned cattle on video at a premium.
Supply included: 94% Feeder Cattle (57% Steers, 40% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 5% Slaughter Cattle (68% Cows, 32% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 51%.
