Compared to last week: Stocker and Feeder steers under 500 lbs sold steady to 5.00 lower, over 500 lbs were steady to 4.00 lower. Stocker and feeder heifers under 500 lbs sold steady to 5.00 lower, over 500 lbs sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls were mostly steady. Supply was heavy with offerings of cattle not as attractive as last week with several thin flesh cattle offered.
Supply included: 74% Feeder Cattle (32% Steers, 51% Heifers, 16% Bulls); 20% Slaughter Cattle (51% Cows, 49% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (18% Stock Cows, 29% Bred Cows, 12% Bred Heifers, 41% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 12%.
