Compared to last week: Stocker steers under 500 lb sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeders steers over 500 lb were mostly steady. Stocker and feeder heifers sold steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 higher. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady. Supply was moderate with good demand on average quality.
Supply included: 57% Feeder Cattle (28% Steers, 49% Heifers, 23% Bulls); 34% Slaughter Cattle (75% Cows, 25% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (13% Stock Cows, 70% Bred Cows, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 11%.
