Compared to last week: Steers under 650 lbs sold steady to 5.00 lower, with the exception of 450 lb steers selling firm. Steers 650 - 850 lbs sold mostly 5.00 to 8.00 higher, and steers over 850 lbs sold steady to 2.00 higher. Heifers under 500 lbs sold mostly 3.00 to 7.00 lower and heifers over 500 lbs sold mostly 3.00 to 8.00 higher. Demand ranged from moderate to good for all classes of cattle. The next report will be Monday, March 28, 2022.

Supply included: 93% Feeder Cattle (57% Steers, 42% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 76%.
