Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly 3.00-5.00 higher with very good demand. Buyers showed the most interest in long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned feeder cattle. Slaughter cows and bulls were mostly 1.00-4.00 higher with good demand.

Supply included: 79% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 46% Heifers, 17% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (81% Cows, 19% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (2% Stock Cows, 62% Bred Cows, 8% Bred Heifers, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 30%.
