Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were mostly 2.00-3.00 higher with good demand. Long-weaned (45+ days), preconditioned feeder cattle were in very good demand. Slaughter cows were mostly steady to 2.00 higher, and slaughter bulls were mostly steady to 1.00 higher with moderate to good demand.

Supply included: 77% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 42% Heifers, 23% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (0% Heifers, 83% Cows, 17% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (4% Stock Cows, 63% Bred Cows, 13% Bred Heifers, 19% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
