Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 higher but 2.00 lower on higher quality steers and slaughter heifers 1.00 to 7.00 lower today with a good offering of steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers had instances of higher/lower. Cows were 2.00 to 3.00 higher with bulls 2.00 higher this week. Feeder steers were mostly steady and feeder heifers and bulls were too few last week to compare but were trending steady.

Supply included: 6% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 40% Heifers, 24% Bulls); 93% Slaughter Cattle (49% Steers, 7% Dairy Steers, 30% Heifers, 11% Cows, 2% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 2% Replacement Cattle (75% Bred Cows, 25% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
