Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 to 6.00 lower with slaughter heifers instances of higher/lower this week. Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 lower with a good offering and active bidding. Cows were 1.00 to 4.00 lower with another good offering of cows and active buyer participation and bulls with instances of higher/lower. Feeder calves were too few to compare but were trending lower.

Supply included: 2% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers, 44% Heifers); 98% Slaughter Cattle (20% Steers, 28% Dairy Steers, 17% Heifers, 28% Cows, 2% Bulls, 4% Dairy Heifers, 1% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 100%.
