Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 2.00 to 4.00 higher with good groups of higher quality steers and slaughter heifers 2.00 lower. Holstein slaughter steers were 1.00 to 6.00 higher with a good offering of Holsteins today. Cows were steady to higher with bulls significantly higher with good high dressing bulls this week. Feeder steers were trending higher and feeder heifers 2.00 higher with feeder bulls instances of higher/lower.

Supply included: 23% Feeder Cattle (15% Steers, 21% Dairy Steers, 37% Heifers, 27% Bulls); 75% Slaughter Cattle (22% Steers, 36% Dairy Steers, 9% Heifers, 19% Cows, 2% Bulls, 10% Dairy Heifers, 1% Bullocks); 2% Replacement Cattle (86% Bred Heifers, 14% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 47%.
