Compared to last week, slaughter steers and slaughter heifers were 1.00 higher this week. Holstein slaughter steers were also 1.00 higher with a good offering and active bidding. Cows were 1.00 to 4.00 higher with a good offering of Holstein cows today and bulls 1.00 to 3.00 higher. Feeder steers were significantly higher with groups of value added steers and feeder heifers mostly steady and feeder bulls too few today to compare. Holstein feeder steers were sharply lower today.

Supply included: 22% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 31% Dairy Steers, 24% Heifers, 8% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 78% Slaughter Cattle (25% Steers, 16% Dairy Steers, 28% Heifers, 28% Cows, 2% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers, 0% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 50%.
