Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 3.00 to 9.00 higher with slaughter heifers 1.00 to 5.00 higher with good groups of higher quality steers and heifers with active participation. Holstein slaughter steers were 4.00 to 5.00 higher this week. Cows were sharply higher with bulls too few to compare today. Feeder heifers and feeder bulls were trending higher with feeder steers too few to compare.

Supply included: 24% Feeder Cattle (3% Steers, 18% Dairy Steers, 38% Heifers, 30% Bulls, 12% Dairy Heifers); 76% Slaughter Cattle (44% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 51% Heifers, 2% Cows, 1% Dairy Heifers, 1% Bullocks). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 8%.
