Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 to 4.00 higher and slaughter heifers 3.00 higher with a good offering of high quality steers and heifer and active buyer participation. Holstein slaughter steers had instances of higher/lower today. Cows were 1.00 to 5.00 lower with bulls 3.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers were trending higher with feeder heifers and bulls too few to compare this week.

Supply included: 5% Feeder Cattle (61% Steers, 17% Heifers, 22% Bulls); 95% Slaughter Cattle (55% Steers, 11% Dairy Steers, 18% Heifers, 14% Cows, 1% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 95%.
