Compared to last week slaughter steers were 1.00 to 6.00 higher and slaughter heifers 3.00 to 4.00 higher with a good offering of high quality steers and heifers, Prime Holstein slaughter steers were significantly higher with other Holstein steers firm to steady. Cows were trending higher and bulls 1.00 higher. Feeder steers were trending higher with feeder heifers sharply higher and feeder bulls too few to compare.

Supply included: 13% Feeder Cattle (50% Steers, 7% Dairy Steers, 40% Heifers, 3% Dairy Heifers); 86% Slaughter Cattle (45% Steers, 4% Dairy Steers, 37% Heifers, 10% Cows, 3% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers, 0% Bullocks); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 53%.
