Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 lower and slaughter heifers 2.00 lower with lower packer inquiry but some good quality steers and heifers. Holstein slaughter steers were mostly steady. Cows were 1.00 to 5.00 higher with bulls trending lower. Feeder steers and heifers were trending higher with good value on value added steers and heifers and bulls too few to compare.

Supply included: 27% Feeder Cattle (71% Steers, 21% Heifers, 7% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 72% Slaughter Cattle (59% Steers, 6% Dairy Steers, 20% Heifers, 15% Cows, 1% Bulls, 1% Dairy Heifers); 2% Replacement Cattle (50% Bred Cows, 50% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 70%.
