Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 1.00 higher and slaughter heifers were 3.00 to 4.00 higher with a good offering of heifers and active bidding. No comparison on Holstein slaughter steers this week. Cows had instances of higher/lower and bulls were 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers and bulls were trending higher and feeder heifers were trading uneven this week.

Supply included: 24% Feeder Cattle (28% Steers, 8% Dairy Steers, 47% Heifers, 17% Bulls); 75% Slaughter Cattle (17% Steers, 2% Dairy Steers, 71% Heifers, 7% Cows, 2% Bulls, 0% Bullocks); 1% Replacement Cattle (33% Bred Heifers, 67% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 47%.
