Compared to last week, slaughter steers were 6.00 to 7.00 higher with slaughter heifers 3.00 higher with better packer inquiry today. Holstein slaughter steers were 2.00 higher this week and Holstein heifers 2.00 higher. Cows were 3.00 to 4.00 lower with bulls 3.00 higher. Feeder steers were trending higher with feeder heifers sharply higher and feeder bulls 7.00 higher with a good offering of feeders this week.

Supply included: 56% Feeder Cattle (20% Steers, 18% Dairy Steers, 41% Heifers, 5% Bulls, 17% Dairy Heifers); 43% Slaughter Cattle (35% Steers, 26% Dairy Steers, 15% Heifers, 14% Cows, 8% Bulls, 3% Dairy Heifers); 0% Replacement Cattle (100% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 61%.
