Compared to last week: Yearlings were not well tested, heifers were 1.00 to 3.00 higher on limited comparable sales. Calves were steady. Trade activity was moderate on moderate to good demand. Slaughter cows were 3.00 to 5.00 higher.
Supply included: 94% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 3% Dairy Steers, 49% Heifers, 5% Bulls, 2% Dairy Heifers); 6% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
