Compared to last week, slaughter cows traded steady to 2.00 lower while slaughter bulls traded 2.00-4.00 lower. Demand was good on a heavy supply. Receipts were the highest since November as improving pasture conditions have increased the demand for replacement and stocker cattle.
Supply included: 52% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls); 48% Replacement Cattle (25% Stock Cows, 45% Bred Cows, 1% Bred Heifers, 28% Cow-Calf Pairs, 1% Bulls).
