Compared to last week, steers under 700 lbs sold 5.00-7.00 higher and heavier weights traded steady. Heifers sold steady to 6.00 higher with most of the gain on the 550-625 lb weight range. Big strings of reputation cattle were on offer and the quality was very good, supply was heavy. Trade was active and demand very good for the cattle under 700 lbs, moderate to good for the heavier yearlings.

Supply included: 93% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers, 43% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (85% Cows, 15% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 59%.
