Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold mostly steady except for spots 5.00-10.00 higher on heifer calves under 525 lbs. Demand was moderate to good for a moderate supply. Slaughter cows and bulls were not reported this week due to absence of market reporter for that portion of the sale. There was a large offering of over 400 cows and bulls.
Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (55% Steers, 42% Heifers, 4% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 27%.
