Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher except for heifer calves weighing 450-525 lbs trading 5.00-10.00 higher. Demand was moderate to mostly good, very good in spots but as expected buyers were selective when it came to quality and most of the day it was moderate to smaller sized packages that were offered with quite a bit of variance in quality. Supply was moderate to heavy. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady.

Supply included: 91% Feeder Cattle (56% Steers, 43% Heifers, 2% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (82% Cows, 18% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 39%.
