Compared to the last reported sale two weeks ago, cattle over 600 lbs sold steady to 6.00 higher while a lighter offering of calves saw heifers selling steady to 5.00 higher and steer calves selling with a weak undertone to the sharply higher prices seen two weeks ago with more new crops in the offering and the quality of the calves uneven. Demand was good for a moderate supply that featured a nice offering of yearling heifers. Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 lower, bulls 3.00-5.00 higher.

Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (35% Steers, 59% Heifers, 6% Bulls); 8% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Stock Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 56%.
