Compared to last week, Steers and Dairy Steers sold steady to 4.00 higher and with good demand overall on a light supply of steers. Heifers and Dairy Heifers sold firm compared to a light test last week. Breaking Cows sold steady to 3.00 lower, with boning and lean Cows selling mostly steady. Bulls sold mostly steady. Buyer attendance for the slaughter cattle sale was moderate, with moderate to good demand overall on a light to moderate supply of cattle. Feeder Dairy Bull calves sold on a split market, with calves above 100lbs selling steady to 2.00 lower, and calves below 100lbs selling steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder Dairy Heifer calves sold firm on a light test this and last week. Buyer attendance and demand for the calf sale was moderate, with a moderate to heavy sale supply. Todays sale supply included; 279 steers, 122 heifers, 292 cows, 58 bulls, 639 calves, and 191 misc. cattle.

Supply included: 54% Slaughter Cattle (33% Steers, 9% Dairy Steers, 4% Heifers, 39% Cows, 9% Bulls, 6% Dairy Heifers); 46% Feeder Dairy Calves (91% Bulls, 9% Heifers).
