Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold strong. Dairy steers sold steady on a light comparison. No comparison on heifers due to light supply. All classes of slaughter cows sold strong. Buyer demand was moderate for the slaughter cattle sales. Feeder dairy calves sold steady with a strong undertone noted. Buyer demand was moderate for the feeder dairy calf sale.

Supply included: 65% Slaughter Cattle (43% Steers, 1% Dairy Steers, 3% Heifers, 44% Cows, 6% Bulls, 3% Dairy Heifers); 35% Feeder Dairy Calves (90% Bulls, 10% Heifers).
