North Dakota Weekly Cattle Auction Summary

Archived Report

9/24/2022

Total Run: 1,735

Market Notes

Compared to last week: Only 1 reported auction this week, firm to higher undertones evident. Very good demand for yearling steers and heifers as cattle feeders highly desire these light fleshed, efficient gaining cattle. Grass conditions are holding out, just well enough, to allow cow/calf pairs to stay turned out without the need for early weaning and shipping.

Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 47% Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 96%.
