North Dakota Weekly Cattle Auction Summary

Archived Report

2/12/2022

Total Run: 11,179

Market Notes

Compared to last week: Feeder steers under 650 lbs 6.00 to 12.00 higher, over 650 lbs 2.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under steady to 3.00 higher except 700-800 lbs 5.00 to 7.00 higher. Very good demand for all weights of feeder cattle this week as the cash fed cattle market moved back above 140.00 and the cattle futures moved higher as well. Corn futures made large gains this week but this seemed to have little affect on the feeder market.

Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (63% Steers, 37% Heifers, 0% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 76%.
