Compared to last week: Feeder steers were steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 400 lbs. 2.00-5.00 lower; over 400 lbs. 1.00-6.00 higher. Slaughter cows 4.00-7.00 higher. Slaughter bulls steady to 1.00 lower. Quality was average to plain. Sold a load of preconditioned cattle on video. see link for video auction ( https://www.ams.usda.gov/mnreports/ams_3628.pdf ).

Supply included: 81% Feeder Cattle (40% Steers, 49% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (57% Bred Cows, 43% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
