Compared to last week: Feeder steers 4.00-10.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs. 7.00-15.00 higher; over 500 lbs. 5.00-7.00 higher. Slaughter cows 3.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 3.00-6.00 higher. Quality was average. Market was higher on all classes of cattle. Futures trade has been higher last two weeks. This has helped raise the cash market. Buyer activity was strong.

Supply included: 71% Feeder Cattle (36% Steers, 60% Heifers, 4% Bulls); 18% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (53% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 43% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 37%.
