Compared to last week: Feeder steers 4.00-10.00 higher with some cattle under 500 lbs. as much as 20.00 higher. Feeder heifers 3.00-10.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Quality was average. Buyer participation was active. Wet weather still had receipts limited.
Supply included: 86% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 44% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (78% Cows, 22% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 18%.
