Compared to last week: Feeder steers and bulls under 500 lb sold steady to 3.00 higher, over 500 lb were steady yo 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 500 lb sold steady to 4.00 higher, over 500 lb mostly steady. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Supply was moderate with strong demand on quality cattle. A nice consignment of replacement cows sold at a premium.
Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (29% Steers, 37% Heifers, 34% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (74% Cows, 26% Bulls); 7% Replacement Cattle (5% Stock Cows, 84% Bred Cows, 7% Bred Heifers, 5% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 19%.
