Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter bulls sold sharply higher and slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 higher. All feeder classes sold sharply higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 65% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 46% Heifers); 22% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 13% Replacement Cattle (43% Stock Cows, 46% Bred Cows, 4% Bred Heifers, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 37%.
