Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady and slaughter cows lightly tested with high 82.00. Feeder steers and bulls sold sharply lower, feeder heifers sold unevenly steady. Trade active with moderate to good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold mostly steady.
Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (45% Steers, 47% Heifers, 8% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (37% Cows, 63% Bulls); 5% Replacement Cattle (33% Stock Cows, 33% Bred Cows, 33% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
