Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold 2.00 - 4.00 higher and slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 - 8.00 higher and feeder bulls sold 1.00 - 4.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady to firm.
Supply included: 70% Feeder Cattle (42% Steers, 47% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 14% Replacement Cattle (16% Stock Cows, 51% Bred Cows, 2% Bred Heifers, 31% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17%.
