Compared to two weeks ago: Slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 lower and slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers and bulls sold sharply higher and feeder heifers sold 6.00 - 10.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 76% Feeder Cattle (38% Steers, 40% Heifers, 21% Bulls); 16% Slaughter Cattle (86% Cows, 14% Bulls); 8% Replacement Cattle (19% Stock Cows, 35% Bred Cows, 35% Bred Heifers, 12% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
