Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher and slaughter cows sold 2.00 - 4.00 higher. Feeder steers and bulls sold unevenly steady, feeder heifers sold 3.00 - 5.00 higher. Trade active with moderate to good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold mostly steady.
Supply included: 68% Feeder Cattle (20% Steers, 58% Heifers, 22% Bulls); 25% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (56% Stock Cows, 11% Bred Cows, 11% Bred Heifers, 22% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26%.
