Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls lightly tested and slaughter cows sold 3.00 - 5.00 higher. Feeder steers and bulls sold 5.00 - 10.00 lower and feeder heifers sold 4.00 - 6.00 higher. Trade active with moderate to good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold firm.
Supply included: 64% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 37% Heifers, 15% Bulls); 21% Slaughter Cattle (100% Cows); 15% Replacement Cattle (12% Stock Cows, 51% Bred Cows, 2% Bred Heifers, 34% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 24%.
