Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady to 3.00 higher and slaughter cows sold 3.00 - 6.00 higher with a high of 78.00. Feeder steers and bulls sold 5.00 - 10.00 higher and feeder heifers sold 2.00 - 6.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle lightly tested.
Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (50% Steers, 43% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 13% Slaughter Cattle (89% Cows, 11% Bulls); 3% Replacement Cattle (50% Stock Cows, 50% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 30%.
