Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady and slaughter cows sold unevenly steady. Feeder bulls were lightly tested, Feeder steers and heifers sold 2.00 - 5.00 higher. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold mostly steady.
Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (43% Steers, 53% Heifers, 4% Bulls); 12% Slaughter Cattle (95% Cows, 5% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (26% Stock Cows, 35% Bred Cows, 17% Bred Heifers, 4% Cow-Calf Pairs, 17% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65%.
