Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls lightly tested. Slaughter cows sold steady to 4.00 higher. Feeder bulls and steers sold steady to 6.00 higher and feeder heifers sold steady to 8.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold unevenly steady.
Supply included: 60% Feeder Cattle (41% Steers, 35% Heifers, 24% Bulls); 30% Slaughter Cattle (97% Cows, 3% Bulls); 10% Replacement Cattle (8% Stock Cows, 15% Bred Cows, 69% Cow-Calf Pairs, 8% Heifer Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 7%.
