Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady. Feeder cattle lightly tested and sold 3.00 to 8.00 higher. Trade active with very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 61% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 40% Heifers, 10% Bulls); 29% Slaughter Cattle (71% Cows, 29% Bulls); 9% Replacement Cattle (77% Stock Cows, 23% Bred Heifers). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 22%.
