Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher and slaughter cows sold 4.00 - 10.00 higher. Feeder steers sold steady to 2.00 higher, feeder bulls and heifers sold steady to 2.00 lower. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady.
Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (58% Steers, 36% Heifers, 7% Bulls); 29% Slaughter Cattle (96% Cows, 4% Bulls); 4% Replacement Cattle (24% Stock Cows, 52% Bred Cows, 24% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 49%.
