Compared to last week: Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady and slaughter cows sold 2.00 - 6.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 5.00 - 10.00 higher, feeder bulls and heifers sold 3.00 - 7.00 lower. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady to firm with best demand on pairs with a high of 1925.
Supply included: 59% Feeder Cattle (28% Steers, 54% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 26% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 13% Bulls); 15% Replacement Cattle (18% Stock Cows, 28% Bred Cows, 5% Bred Heifers, 49% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.
